In the next couple of months after Zabbix Conference 2016 ended with a great success, Zabbix team has been actively participating in multiple conferences, expos and meetups around the globe.
We have traveled from the Netherlands to the United Arab Emirates, then to the USA and back to Europe, also visiting Japan, China and many more places to be marked on our Zabbix travel map.
Let’s reminisce about the best moments and invaluable experience we’ve shared for the past couple of months!
PERCONA LIVE Europe – Amsterdam – October 3-5
The Percona Live Conference is known for its dedication to Open Source databases, featuring multiple talks, tutorials and breakout sessions from top industry leaders.
Alexei Vladishev, founder and CEO of Zabbix, delivered a talk about Zabbix capability of monitoring the performance, availability and consistency of database engines. Find the presentation on SlideShare.
GITEX – Dubai – October 16-20
Being the third largest technology event in the world, GITEX welcomes an immense number of IT specialists and entrepreneurs from 35+ countries in Dubai to share their achievements and ideas in different fields. This year we had a pleasure to be part of this expo, establishing cooperation and presenting Zabbix architecture, scalability and performance.
ALL THINGS OPEN – Raleigh, NC – October 26-27
Later in October, Zabbix Team traveled to All Things Open – another Open Source conference to share the latest Zabbix milestones with thousands of Open Source lovers. It was a pleasure to meet our users and newcomers as well as get to know Tarus Balog, CEO of OpenNMS Group.
RED HAT FORUMS – Prague & Warsaw – November 1, 8
We just couldn’t miss a series of forums organized by Red Hat – the world’s leading provider of Open Source solutions. It was great to meet people from Red Hat, OpenNMS, Percona and many other inspiring personalities.
ZABBIX PRAGUE MEETUP – November 2
We stayed a bit longer in Prague to meet our local users and partners from Datasys and Soitron to discuss Zabbix use cases and how customers can influence Zabbix development.
HIGHLOAD++ – Moscow – November 7-8
HighLoad++ is one of the biggest conferences of high performance systems. The event featured discussions on Big Data, IoT, complex systems and enterprise-level performance, with Zabbix covering all of these themes, plus much more!
PARIS OPEN SOURCE SUMMIT – November 16-17
Zabbix traveled to France to take part in an international summit in Paris with Open Source as a key topic. Zabbix Team, along with our local partner Axel IT, were presenting how making smart decisions based on monitoring data is important for business efficiency.
ZABBIX CHINA MEETING – Shanghai – November 16
Another accomplishment we are proud of is the first Zabbix meeting in China organized in cooperation with Zabbix Chinese partners. The meeting gathered Zabbix users in a gorgeous Shanghai and featured talks on smart monitoring and the advantages Zabbix brings to businesses.
Productive negotiations finished with the action plan of the upcoming training sessions and long-lasting cooperation between Zabbix and partners from China.
RENNES MONITORING MEETUP – November 17
The main idea of the meetup in Rennes was to expose the advantages of Zabbix 3.2 and present a case study on using Zabbix at SIB – a public hospital organization, specializing in IT services for healthcare institutions.
Thanks to a loyal Zabbix community member and evangelist, Steve Destivelle, Zabbix is being introduced at this and many other meetups throughout France. On December 15, join Zabbix French community for the first Lyon User Group Meetup.
ZABBIX CONFERENCE JAPAN 2016 – Tokyo – November 18
The 4th annual Zabbix Conference Japan took place this November welcoming the best IT specialists and Zabbix Japanese partners in Tokyo. Thank you our honored speakers for the impressive Zabbix case studies on monitoring AWS cloud services, IoT devices, optical broadband service, as well as the whole infrastructure of Interop Tokyo 2016, representing around 800 servers and network devices.
FORTALEZA MEETUP – ZABBIX ON THE ROAD – November 26
Zabbix users in Brazil meet frequently to exchange their Zabbix ideas, challenges and success stories – and this time it was a meetup in Fortaleza, organized with the support of our Premium Partner, Unirede Soluções Corporativas.
DEVTERNITY – Riga – December 1-2
With the year coming to an end, we were honored to participate in the software excellence conference taking place in our hometown Riga. We had a great time at the event, delivering Zabbix prizes for the most active participants and demonstrating Zabbix power in action with IoT sensors gathering real-time data. It was interactive and fun!

It was an excellent year full of events including CeBIT, Red Hat Summit, Interop Tokyo and a wide range of Zabbix meetups occurring all over the world in cooperation with our partners from France, Brazil, Russia, Slovakia and many more!
We are already planning the list of the next year’s events with SCALE 15x, Percona Conference and Red Hat Summit to name a few. And of course, don’t miss our biggest event – Zabbix Conference 2017 – already scheduled for September 15-16, 2017.
