Munich Transport Corporation (MVG) is a division of an integrated service provider including electricity, gas and water utilities, as well as transportation services. Providing a daily service used by thousands of Munich residents and tourists, the company seeks for options to detect errors as fast as possible and efficiently deal with them.

Day 2 of Zabbix Conference 2017 started with hands-on Workshops run by Zabbix Support Team, with some of the conference attendees also testing their knowledge and challenging themselves at the Zabbix Exam.

Breaking all the records this year, the 7th annual Zabbix Conference welcomed in Riga around 250 system engineers, cloud specialists, DevOps and CTOs from 32 countries all around the globe.

Zabbix API starts to play significant role especially when it comes to integration of Zabbix with third-party software like configuration and incident management systems as well as for automation of routine tasks. It is incredibly difficult to manage monitoring of thousands of hosts without some automation in place.
